The five chariots are dedicated to the Pandava brothers – Yudhistir, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva and their wife Draupadi. The ratha was carved out of a large single stone.
- Shore temple –
The shore temple is one of the existing structures of the renowned Seven Pagodas built during the ruling period of Narasimhavarman II. The temple contains a large number of civil structures which is said to remain under the sea now. The shrine of the temple mimics a pyramidal structure. The temple also contains a lot of monolithic sculptures.
- Olakkanneshvara temple –
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is perched on the hilltop which is afew kms away from the beach. This temple is believed to be the lighthouse of the earlier times.
