SUGAR |
Our range of sugars comprises export quality white sugar, raw and refined sugars. Sugar grading is done for colour and grain size. Sugar produced at our business partner refineries takes place under stringent quality control measures and the produced sugar match international standards. |
MOLASSES
Molasses is a by-product in sugar processing. It consists of solids, sucrose and reducing sugars and is graded on the basis of reducing sugars present. Molasses having reducing sugar above 50% are taken as I grade, and below 40% are below grade. The commercial value of molasses is determined by Brix (total dissolved solid) and TRS (total reducing sugars). |
ALCOHOLS |
Molasses are fermented in distilleries to produce alcohol commercially.
Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol)

Ethanol is a clear, colourless liquid with a characteristic, agreeable odour. Ethanol is used as an automotive fuel by itself and can be mixed with gasoline. Most industrial ethanol is denatured by adding various unpleasant or poisonous substances to prevent its use for human consumption. |
Absolute (Anhydrous) Alcohol
Absolute alcohol is ethanol with low water content. There are various grades of absolute alcohol with maximum water contents ranging from 1% to ppm levels. As a good solvent, absolute alcohol is used in the production of some paints, industrial chemicals and pharmaceuticals. |
Rectified Spirits |
A rectified spirit or rectified alcohol is highly concentrated ethanol (drinking alcohol) which has been purified by means of repeated distillation, a process that is called rectification. Rectified spirits are used in mixed drinks, in the production of liqueurs, for medicinal purposes, and as a household solvent. Rectified spirits typically contain 95% alcohol by volume. |
Extra Neutral Alcohol
There are several grades of ethanol upon the amount of impurities present and generally the lower the quality of ethanol, higher the amount of impurities present. Extra Neutral Alochol has the highest level of ethanol purity for high quality beverages and liquor. |
